Itinerary

Your journey starts with a lovely drive from Medan through the gorgeous palm and rubber plantations of Langkat Regency. As you leave the city behind, you'll find yourself surrounded by lush tropical greenery, leading you to the remote village of Tangkahan. Tangkahan is known for its inspiring conservation history, and it's become a hub for ecotourism and wildlife preservation.

Once you get there, you can walk through the rainforest to the elephant sanctuary, which is located by the riverside. You'll have the amazing chance to bathe and interact with the elephants in a natural and ethical setting. The elephants are really happy to have a splash of water, and it's a great chance to get up close and personal with them. It's a really special experience that you'll remember forever.
After that, you'll join the herd as they graze and play in the meadows. Watching the elephants take dust baths, graze, and frolic in the open fields is a magical sight that shows how humans and nature can live side by side in peace.
