Itinerary
Begin your journey with a scenic drive through one of Jakarta's charming suburbs and the beautiful countryside, heading towards Bogor, located 60 km south of Jakarta. Your first stop is the Bogor Botanical Gardens, a world-class garden spanning 85 hectares. Officially opened by the Dutch in 1817, these gardens have been a hub for botanical research and crop development. Here, you will find over 15,000 plant species, including 400 kinds of palms and more than 5,000 orchid varieties from across Indonesia. Don’t miss the centuries-old trees and the Presidential Summer Palace, which served as the residence of Dutch governors-general from 1870 to 1942.
Continue your tour with a drive to Puncak, a stunning highland area at an altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level. This winding mountain road offers breathtaking views of tea plantations and small resort towns. Enjoy the cool, often misty atmosphere, perfect for escaping the heat and crowds of Jakarta. The sight of tea pickers in their colorful costumes and broad hats is a photographer's delight. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in this scenic area.
Next, visit Taman Safari Indonesia, a unique drive-through game park where animals roam freely in environments that closely resemble their natural habitats. Experience the thrill of watching animals from all continents up close from the comfort of your tour bus. Adjacent to the park is the Baby Zoo, where you can interact with friendly lion cubs, shake hands with orangutans, and marvel at the rare white tiger.
