Detailed Description
The tour starts from Salta city hotels, traveling by the scenic Route No 68 towards Cafayate, where we arrive at noon, after crossing Las Conchas River Gorge.
Upon arriving in Cafayate around noon, we'll begin our exploration with a visit to the Vine and Wine Museum. Here, you'll gain insight into the region's rich winemaking history and how it has evolved over the years.
The tour also includes visits to two local wineries included in the regular itinerary. At each winery, enjoy a tasting of high-altitude wines, with one or two wines offered by the winery. (Please note that the wineries operate their own internal guided visits, which in many cases are conducted exclusively in Spanish. While in others, the winery areas are visited freely rather than as part of a structured guided tour.)
