Detailed Description
Led by an English-speaking instructor, the class will begin with a demonstration of traditional cooking techniques. You will learn how to prepare seasonal everyday Japanese meals, known as "Ichiju-Sansai" or "One soup and three dishes." This balanced meal consists of a soup, a main dish, and two side dishes, showcasing the harmony of flavors and presentation that is characteristic of Washoku.
During the class, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in the cooking process. The instructor will guide you step by step, teaching you the essential skills and techniques used in Japanese cooking. You will learn how to select and prepare ingredients, handle knives, and create beautiful and delicious dishes that reflect the principles of Washoku.
