Detailed Description
Among the indigenous rituals, what stands out most is the ritual of the Tucandeira in the Sateré-Mawé tribe. This event is kind of a of male initiation. Leaving from Manaus at 09:00 am by car for 1 hour drive to Ariau, then by speed boat for 45min to the Trible Sateré Mawé.
At-12:00 Lunch- rice, flour, ants, maybe some salad, that's the way the Indians liven in the Jungle and their food.
At-01:00pm-Explanation of the Indian Pharmacy, the natural medication made by leaf and bark of the trees, the Indians will give you a speech about all these natural medications.
At 02:00 pm -We will help the Indians finding out the famous ants “Tucandeiras”, .
At 03:00 pm - Start the presentation which we do not recommend anybody try except the Indians, you will have a chance to film, make the photos and dance with them.
At 04:00 pm start to return to Manaus.
