Itinerary
Today we will leave together to explore the Natural and Cultural Wonder in this Trekking in the Fray Jorge Forest National Park.
We will begin our adventure leaving from La Serena at approximately 08.00 am, be prepared to discover all the wonders that await us today. So dress comfortable and bring what you need, don`t forget water and your camera to capture unique moments and keep your curiosity alive to appreciate every detail.
We will arrive at 10.00 am approximately until the Trail in the Fray Jorge Forest, to immerse ourselves in the only "Hydrophilic Forest" region of. While we walk a path of approximately 1 kilometer, we will reach the top of the hill. We will enjoy this natural treasure, declared a Reserve of the Biosphere by UNESCO, which will reveal to us its unique essence, a forest magical reflective Valdivian, a jewel in harmony with the semi-arid ecosystem that surrounds it, Ideal for all levels of trekking.
We can immerse ourselves in the richness of the forest,fed by the camanchaca, a dense fog that rises from the sea and gives life to this unique ecosystem. We will discover the native flora and fauna as we explore the park trails.
If you take the option in "private", at approximately 12:30 we will go to Barraza, a colonial town that has maintained its charm since the 1800s. Cobblestone streets, old style houses and the essence of the past will transport us to another era.
At 2:00 p.m. approximately we will continue our adventure and head to an Archaeological Heritage. We will explore the Valley of Enchantment National Monument, where the past comes to life through petroglyphs and pictographs that reveal the richness of Molle culture. We will discover traces of hunters with records that They date back to 2000 BC. and small stones that tell the stories of cultures ancestral.
If you prefer the in-service option "shared", at approximately 1:00 p.m. we headed to to the charming Balneario de Tongoy, famous for its beach and exquisite gastronomy. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant facing the sea, delighting yourself with local specialties while we contemplate the waves.
After lunch, We will have free time to explore Tongoy. Relaxing on the beach, gives a Take a walk along the boardwalk or try some local delicacies at the various locations.
At 5:00 p.m. approximately we will begin our return to La Serena, but we will leave with the heart full of unforgettable experiences, loaded with the sensations that We live today in this unique natural environment in the region.
Today you will have a day of exceptional trip that will take us from the magical forest of Fray Jorge to the beautiful Tongoy beach or even the unique Valle del Encanto.
