        Detailed Description

Join a guided walking tour to discover the art of Tuscan leather craftsmanship, with a special focus on the Florentine tradition. Explore the narrow streets of the Oltrarno district, the beating heart of textile craftsmanship, whose roots date back to the Middle Ages. Back in time, wool, silk, and leather made Florence wealthy and influential throughout the world.

The first part of the tour unfolds in Oltrarno, where the city reveals its most authentic and passionate side. Cradle of ancient trades, the small streets and squares between San Frediano and Santo Spirito will tell you the story of the leatherworking, ceramics, and wood traditions. Here, moving from store to store, you can still breathe the scent of varnish: this is the city where you can get lost and discover the most authentic side of craftsmanship.

The second part of the tour takes place at the PIERO TUCCI Boutique, inside Palazzo Gondi, one of the city’s oldest historic buildings. After a welcome drink, the creative workshop will start with a special focus on sustainability and creativity. Whether it's a bag, a belt, or another accessorize, see how your creation takes place: choose the components, assemble your item, and personalize it! At the end of the experience, you will have the opportunity to purchase what you have made.

Don’t miss out on an experience that brings together tradition, creativity, and some unforgettable memories to cherish forever!
