        Detailed Description

Begin your adventure at the Emerald Buddha Temple, only a 6-minute walk away. Pass through the amulet market, one of Rattanakosin Island's most famous and historically significant community marketplaces. Discover the first stop at Wat Phra Kaew, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in English, and Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram in Thai. Fun fact: It is considered Thailand's most holy Buddhist temple!

Explore the Grand Palace, which used to be the central abode of Thailand's kings. The Grand Palace is still utilized for official functions today. Every year, several royal events and official occasions are hosted within the palace's walls. Once you’ve discovered the place, you will get the chance to pass through Tha Thien Market, a cultural food market where you can get dried, salted seafood, and wholesale goods.

During this tour, you should check out the Wat Pho and the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. They’re a must-see, especially since it is one of six Thai temples that have been designated as the highest category of first-class royal temples. You can learn about King Rama I, who erected the temple complex on the site of a previous temple, and understand how it came to be his principal temple, where part of his ashes are interred. For your reference, the temple is surrounded by marble pictures and inscriptions for public teaching. It is even regarded as the oldest center for public medical education, and UNESCO has acknowledged it as part of the Memory of the World Programme. The temple is also the birthplace of traditional Thai massage, which is being taught and performed today.

Continue your journey to Wat Arun (the Temple of Dawn), one of Bangkok's most renowned monuments, which is noted for its vast tower, which stands 70 meters tall and is located near the Chao Phraya River. The shrine is encircled with Chinese porcelain and embellished with tiny bits of colorful glass.
