Detailed Description
The tour takes place in a venue built in 1927 and declared a historical building for its charm and cultural importance. Evoking the golden tango years, this "Tanguería" features a lounge that can accomodate 400 people, while offering a memorable tango show along with a delicious dinner. Homero Manzi was the man who transformed tango in poetry and actually immortalized this corner where he wrote his famous tango "Sur".
The first chords of the bandoneon marks the beginning of the this amazing tango show which includes a live musical quintet (bandoneon, piano, violin, guitar and bass), along with two singers and four dance couples. The show revolves around Homero Manzi compositions and also offers memorable homages to Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzolla, for you to enjoy the rhythm of tango and milongas.
Once the tango show is over, you will be dropped off at your centrally located Buenos Aires hotel. (if option selected)
