Sydney Night Tour

Sydney Night Tour

Itinerary

6:20pm – Meet your tour guide at the meeting point outside the Kimpton Margot Sydney on 339 Pitt Street. The guide will be waiting next to a mini-van or coach parked in the bus zone.

6.30pm – Depart and travel through the city center towards The Rocks area.

6:45pm – Arrive at Observatory Hill, the highest natural point on Sydney Harbor. From this elevated point, you will enjoy harbor views across the bridge to North Sydney.

7.30pm – Rejoin the coach for a short tour around the Rocks and travel back in time to Sydney’s convict past and hear tales of Sydney’s colonial origins. Your guide will point out some of the earliest buildings in the colony including some of the oldest and best-known pubs, still worth a visit today.

7.40pm – Travelling past the finger wharves at Miller’s Point we enjoy a short photo stop at Dawes Point, next to the southern pylon of the harbor bridge.

8.00pm – Next, we travel north across the Harbor Bridge, which itself sparkles at night casting an enormous curved shadow across the harbor. Here we find ourselves in one of Sydney’s affluent harborside locations, Kirribilli, home to the PM when he is in Sydney.

8.10pm – Under the harbor bridge we alight from the coach to take in the magic panorama around us, providing once again a perfect photo opportunity. Venture to the front of Luna Park and all of its Art Deco glory as Sydney’s oldest amusement park dating back to the 1930s. Luna Park’s iconic smiling face is world-renowned and best seen when lit up at night!

8:30 PM – Explore the Opera House
It’s time for a stunning, close-up view of one of the world’s most famous landmarks. Our expert guide will lead you right to the Opera House, offering perfect photo opportunities to capture this architectural marvel.

Your tour reaches an exciting point where you have a choice! You can either get off at the iconic Opera House for a close-up view and photo opportunities, with the option to relax at the Opera Bar (drinks at your own cost).

8:50 PM – Barangaroo
Or, if you prefer, continue on to Barangaroo for a more laid-back stop. Whether you choose the Opera House or Barangaroo, you can say goodbye to your guide at your stop of choice. From there, enjoy a leisurely walk back to your hotel, taking in the beauty of the city as you go.
