Detailed Description
For the full day, 11-hours tour.
Bald Hill Lookout at Stanwell Tops – offers sweeping views of the cliffs and beaches of the New South Wales coast. If you’re in need of a morning pick-me-up, the Flying High Cafe at Bald Hill serves coffee and cakes.
Before Lunch – Sea Cliff Bridge and a driving tour of the beaches and villages of the Illawarra
From Stanwell Park, we pick up the Grand Pacific Drive which will carry us all the way to Kiama. We cross the engineering marvel that is the Sea Cliff drive and get a taste of the beaches and villages of the northern Illawarra.
Lunch and Free time – Kiama and Berry
In picturesque Kiama, we’ll visit the famous blowhole and stroll the boutique and café lined streets. If the smell of the ocean has you hungry for a seafood lunch – Kiama is the place. We can grab fish and chips and picnic with a view of the ocean or enjoy a sit-down lunch in a café or bistro. If you’re not quite ready for lunch in Kiama, we’ll push on to Berry – a quaint country town with a selection of pubs and restaurants
After Lunch – Kangaroo Valley and Fitzroy Falls
We’ll follow winding roads through paddocks and stands of the rainforest before descending into Kangaroo Valley – an inviting village time has forgotten. From here we climb up the far side of the valley and onto a lookout over Fitzroy Falls in Morton National Park.
Sydney Return -Via the Southern Highland
A final stop on our 11-hour tour will be either a lookaround one of the Southern Highland villages, such as Bowral, or a cellar-door visit at one of the cool-climate vineyards in the area.
