Optional St. Peter’s Basilica supplement
Add one more hour to the tour and get inside St. Peter’s Basilica that houses, among other artworks, the G. L. Bernini’s canopy near the altar and the Pietà by Michelangelo. The tour wouldn’t be complete without a walk in St. Peter’s Square, the open space before the basilica, redesigned by G. L. Bernini, an architectural masterpiece of the Baroque age.

The tour comes with pickup service. Just wake up at your centrally located hotel, have breakfast and then meet your driver.

Thanks to our privileged access to the Sistine Chapel (one hour before usual opening time) you’ll admire Michelangelo’s Last Judgment masterpiece with only a bunch of other lucky people. Usually, no talking is allowed inside the Sistine Chapel, but at this early hour you will have the incredible opportunity to hear the explanations of your guide right as you behold the Chapel’s amazing paintings.

After looking at the powerful frescoes inside the Sistine Chapel, your expert guide will lead you to the Raphael’s rooms and the so-called upper galleries.

After taking in all the beauty the Vatican has to offer, you will reach the beautiful Cortile della Pigna and have an American-style breakfast, right in the same courtyard where popes entertained their guests for centuries.

At the end of the tour, meet your driver at Caffè Vaticano (Viale Vaticano,100) and enjoy a transfer back to your hotel.
