        Detailed Description

Escape the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh. Cycle along the riverbanks of Tonle Sap and catch a ferry to Silk Island. Catch a glimpse of the vibrant Cambodian culture as you navigate hidden trails past small farming communities, schools, pagodas, and silk shops to offer an authentic experience of village life in the Cambodian countryside.

Upon arriving at the silk weaving village, you will get a chance to observe the silk weaving process (which is manually done) by the locals. You also have the opportunity to purchase your choice of silk items as souvenirs, such as scarves, skirts, and kramas, which are all woven here. Next, you will continue to cycle to the picturesque Koh Dach Pagoda, built more than a thousand years ago, before having lunch on this island. After lunch, you will pedal back to the ferry and return to your hotel.

Start from your hotel at 8:00
Distance: cycle approx. 20km with a support vehicle.
