Detailed Description
Our tour begins at the Sierra da Bocaina National Park, to go into the Mata Atlantica, a humid tropical forest considered heritage of the region.
First, our jeep will stop at Pedra Branca waterfalls, where you can take photos and get in touch with the local flora. Afterwards, we will continue on our way towards Vila da Penha, to start a walk all along the forest that will allow us to observe different types of typical plants such as bamboo, bromeliads and chestnuts, among others; Also, we can visit other crystal clear water waterfalls, such as Toboga or the English's Well. As we go through the lush forest, we can spot panoramic views of the Sierra and the historic city of Paraty.
After spending a busy morning exploring the jungle, we will go to the next point of our tour, to visit the D'Ouro Alembic and learn how the cachaça is made. You will taught all the procedures that are used for its elaboration, to then enjoy a tasting, while looking at the stunning landscape.
