The best way to see the wide-open countryside in the shadow of Angkor Wat is on a cheval. A pillion
ride on one of our Vespas allows you to get up close and personal with the people and culture, with plenty of time to take it all in!
This trip provides an in-depth look at Cambodia's open country and the people's lives there! We begin at APOPO to learn about their HeroRats, who are helping to clear Cambodia of landmines.
Next, we ride away from the city's congested side streets, which can be found throughout the countryside. Our aides introduce you to their favorite vendors at the neighborhood showcase. We make a pit stop at a lovely sanctuary, where we are given a Buddhist gift and learn about local beliefs and traditions and the day-to-day life of a priest.
Next, we travel through the typical rice paddies and farmland scenery to our neighbor's family house, where we stop for refreshments and meet the local wild oxen. We'll meet a group of rattan weavers, sticky rice creators, sugar-palm collectors, noodle producers, and a traditional medicine man who embody the enduring morals of their traditional ways. It's a fantastic adventure that will leave you smiling at the end!
