Itinerary
The town of Ceský Krumlov, picturesquely situated above the meandering upper Vltava River in Southern Bohemia, is famous throughout the world. Over three hundred historic buildings dominated by a huge castle and the Church of St. Vitus bear witness to the town´s rich past. Ceský Krumlov also has enormous appeal as a strong urban community and is among the monuments on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage list.
Our journey begins by traveling to Ceské Budějovice in southern Bohemia. Overlooked by the Black Tower, the town’s unique historic square is lined with Renaissance and Baroque homes. As we travel through southern Bohemia, admire the beautiful landscape full of forests and ponds. Next, enjoy an excursion to Ceský Krumlov. We will visit the castle and the old town center where we'll have lunch.
Afterwards, we'll travel to the exclusive four-star Stekl Hotel in Hluboka for accommodations. Enjoy the rest of this excursion at your leisure; perhaps walk through Hluboka town, visit Hluboka castle, or the castle gardens. Other options included golf, Ohrada Zoo, Aquapark, cycling, or other sights near Hluboka (separate cost).
Around approximately 5:00pm on the second day, customers will be picked up at Stekl Hotel and returned to Prague.
Day 1: Prague - Hluboká (Meals: lunch)
Our journey begins by traveling to Ceské Budějovice in southern Bohemia. Overlooked by the Black Tower, the town’s unique historic square is lined with Renaissance and Baroque homes. As we travel through southern Bohemia, admire the beautiful landscape full of forests and ponds. Next, enjoy a trip to Český Krumlov and visit the castle and Old Town where you'll stop for lunch. Finally, arrive at an exclusive 4-star castle, Stekl Hotel in Hluboká, and stay overnight. Check in at the hotel at 5:00pm Hotel Stekl is situated in the castle area. For your dinner you can use hotel restaurant or walk to some other restaurant aroud.. On the way to the center of the small town, you'll see many restaurants. The first one is only 10 minutes from the hotel, others are 20-30 minutes.
Day 2: Hluboká - Prague (Meals: breakfast)
The buffet breakfast is between 7 – 10am in the hotel restaurant. After breakfast, enjoy the rest of the excursion at your leisure. Consider walking through Hluboká town and exploring it on your own, or visit the Hluboká Castle and its surrounding gardens. You may also choose to play golf, visit the zoo, go cycling, or sightsee in or around the city (at a separate cost). Around approximately 17:00, you will be picked up from your hotel and begin the journey back to Prague.
