Gürá Oga: The Home of the Birds
Located in the middle of the missionary jungle, Güira Oga is more than a refuge; It is a sanctuary for endangered native fauna. Founded in 1997 by passionate naturalists, this shelter works tirelessly to rescue animals affected by wildlife trafficking and other dangers, rehabilitating them and returning them to their natural home. With 19 hectares of protected landscape and surrounded by the rich biodiversity of the Iguazú National Park, every corner of the refuge will immerse you in nature, with ancient trees that reach 30 meters in height. Gürá Oga invites you to discover, learn and collaborate in the preservation of Misiones wildlife.
La Aripuca: Monument to Nature
Inspired by a traditional Guaraní trap, La Aripuca is an imposing construction 17 meters high and 500,000 kg, assembled with 30 species of rescued native trees, many of them centenary. This family eco-tourism project seeks to raise awareness about the importance of our natural resources, transforming trees recovered from sawmills and farms into a symbol of life and preservation. Here you can taste unique flavors such as yerba mate ice cream, try homemade jams, and discover carefully made crafts, all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
