Explore the stunning landscapes of Portillo and the legendary Laguna del Inca in the Andes mountains. This exciting day trip offers a chance to admire the Aconcagua peak (weather permitting) and visit South America's oldest ski resort, Portillo. Enjoy the natural beauty and rich history of the region, with a visit to the mystical Laguna del Inca.
The tour begins with a hotel pickup in Santiago, after which we will head towards Monumento Chacabuco, a historic site with great significance in Chile’s independence. Along the way, we will stop at Salto del Soldado, a beautiful waterfall, and the Chile-Argentina border, offering incredible views of the surrounding Andes. We’ll also make a stop at the 17 Curves pass for some fantastic photo opportunities.
The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Portillo ski resort and the breathtaking Laguna del Inca, a high-altitude lake surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. If the weather allows, you may also enjoy views of the towering Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas.
