Detailed Description
Our tour begins around 7:30 am, with the pick up from your hotel, to go see the most important penguin colony in South America.
The first stop will be at Puerto Rawson, Union Beach, around 09:00 am. After touring the area, you'll board a small boat to go Dolphin watching. You'll, be able to get really close the the Toninas, the world's smallest dolphin. We will navigate until we'll see the playful dolphins in their habitat. This tour takes about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Then, continue to Punta Tombo, which serves as the Magellanic penguins natural habitat. We spend 1.5 hours there, and during that time, you'll be able to observe how the different animals, such as Gulls, Skuas, Giant Petrels, Cormorants, Oyster-catchers and duck steams, cohabit on the coast. Given the extent of the area, other native species such as guanacos, rheas, rabbits and foxes can be seen.
Return to Puerto Madryn around 6.30 pm
