Detailed Description
The excursion kicks off with a hotel transfer from Ushuaia at 8:00 am, heading for a 30-minute journey to the Valle de Andorra, where the trek commences. Guided through a rarely trodden and captivating path, the approximately 3-hour uphill hike takes you through a challenging forest terrain with fallen trees and obstacles, offering entertaining and stimulating elements. Upon reaching the vegetation limit, a treeless vantage point unfolds, providing an expansive view of Ushuaia from 850 meters above sea level—a treat for height enthusiasts.
Designed for those who appreciate elevated perspectives, the trek reaches its pinnacle at more than 650 meters, affording an incredible view around 700 meters above sea level. Around noon, at the hill's summit, a breathtaking 360º panorama awaits, showcasing the Olivia and Cinco Hermanos mountains, Carbajal and Andorra valleys, Beagle Channel, Murray Pass, Navarino and Hoste islands, and the finest view of Ushuaia. With an hour for lunch amidst this extraordinary landscape, the descent begins around 13:30, and by approximately 3:00 pm, the return journey concludes at Ushuaia hotels.
