            Itinerary

Discover one of New Zealand's most beautiful places on a Queenstown to Milford Sound full day tour. Known for its spectacular scenery, Milford Sound is a day tour you do not want to miss. Situated in a magnificent alpine landscape in the World Heritage Fiordland National Park, Milford Sound is known around the world as the 'eighth natural wonder of the world.

Start your day in Queenstown, taking in the magnificent mountain range known as The Remarkables as you depart the city. You will stop for a short break in the picturesque lakeside town of Te Anau, the gateway to the Fiordland National Park.

Continue your journey along the Milford Road, through scenes of natural beauty that have remained unchanged for many years. With the glass-roofed coach you will be able to gaze up at the mountains. Be mesmerized by the Mirror Lakes, where on a clear day you will see a perfect reflection of the mountains on the water's surface. Quench your thirst at Monkey Creek, where you can drink pristine glacial water straight from the stream. Travel through the stunning feat of engineering that is the 1.2 km Homer Tunnel, carved out of solid rock through the mountains. Marvel at The Chasm, a series of uniquely shaped rocks and potholes formed by the Cleddau River rushing into a narrow abyss. Finally, descend through the Cleddau Valley into Milford Sound.

Board your Milford Sound cruise and view the stunning mountains, rugged cliffs covered in native rainforest, and powerful waterfalls that tumble hundreds of meters into the fiord. Keep a look out for seals, dolphins and penguins in the waters below.
