Detailed Description
Our adventure on wheels begins at the meeting point provided, according to the start time you have chosen. Remember that you can choose between the 9:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 7:00 PM departure times.
We will receive the bikes and a brief safety briefing. We will adjust the bikes to our measurements, and we will be ready to pedal. We will start the tour heading to Cerro Nutibara, a hill surrounded by lush vegetation, ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoying a 360-degree view. From the base of the hill we will face a 1-kilometer uphill challenge that, depending on our physical condition, we can do walking or cycling. In either case, the reward will be incredible: panoramic views of the city of Medellín and part of the Aburrá Valley. At the top of the hill is also the famous Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a typical Antioquian town. There, you will undoubtedly experience the culture of the region up close, exploring the traditional houses, the church, and the shops that reflect the life of yesteryear. We will have time to walk around the town, take photos and enjoy a delicious refreshing drink, natural juice or beer.
We will continue towards the Conquistadores neighborhood, located in the heart of Medellín, this outstanding sector is known as the green lung of the city since it has leafy green and open-air areas, there we will visit Parks of the River, a successful example of how urban planning can transform a city. The area has an authentic landscape design, reflecting the essence of the region. Waterfalls, bodies of water, vegetation and wide paths will be the main attractions at this point, ideal for relaxing in the middle of the urban environment.
We will continue along the path in search of the city center, where we can walk through the historic streets and visit emblematic places such as the Park of Lights, the judicial center, the Bolívar shopping mall and the famous Botero Square. The center is the cultural and commercial heart of the city, has a rich history and a mix of ancient and modern architecture. There we will enjoy a delicious typical snack while listening to the best stories of the area.
To end the tour, we will visit the surroundings of the Atanasio Girardot Stadium, a sports icon for the city. You will be able to admire its architecture and enjoy the sporting atmosphere that is breathed in this area.
After 4 hours of touring, we will return to the starting point, bringing our adventure on wheels to a close.
