Detailed Description
Explore the heart of the Swiss Alps in the village of Interlaken. Experience breathtaking views of Lakes Thun and Brienz on either side and the surrounding peaks.
Departing from Lausanne, go on a full-day trip and explore the heart of the famous Bernese Oberland. Arrive in Interlaken, overlooked by the famous trio of summits, Eiger, Mönch and Junfrau. Visit the harbor and see the blue lakes on both sides of the village. Experience the local culture and try local specialties, such as a Swiss fondue.
You'll stop at Lauterbrunnen and enjoy the village and the amazing Staubbach Waterfall of 297 m. After, in Interlaken you'll take the cable car Harderbahn up to Harder Kulm viewpoint, a breathtaking floating platform where you'll be able to admire Interlaken landscape. Take incredible pictures of Interlaken, both lakes and the Alps at the back of the landscape. In Harder Kulm you can go for a walk, take a drink or eat a wonderful fondue as it has a restaurant and bar at the top.
At the end of the afternoon, you will board the bus to go back to Lausanne. Marvel again at the beauty of the area as you drive through Jungfrau region back to your point of departure
