Our guide plays relaxing tunes as you head north across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, over the Hawkesbury River, onto Australia’s oldest wine production region — the renowned Hunter Valley!
First stop is an outstanding boutique winery where an expert takes you through tastings of their outstanding red and white wines including the region’s famous varietals including shiraz and semillon.
We visit a second charming cellar door before lunch for more private wine tastings
Next it’s off to a local brewery for a one course lunch where you can choose (own expense) which local beverage to enjoy with your meal.
Feeling content, our next stop is spirits tastings at the home of the unique glitter vodka! Always a laugh and very educational!
During the day we’ll taste local cheese and chocolate, and provide some free time to explore Hunter Valley Gardens Village and the chance to hunt down the Dragon Schnapps for a fiery tasting!
