Detailed Description
When you picture Switzerland, do you imagine charming Alpine villages surrounded by snow-capped mountains? Then get ready for a day that brings that picture to life.
Your journey begins in Geneva as you travel through the beautiful Swiss countryside towards Les Diablerets, meaning “the little devils,” a charming Alpine village nestled in the heart of the Vaud Alps. Surrounded by traditional chalets and spectacular mountain scenery, the village is the gateway to the impressive Glacier 3000.
From Col du Pillon, board the cable car for a spectacular 15-minute ascent to almost 3,000 metres above sea level. As you rise above the valley, the landscape transforms into a spectacular Alpine world of snow, glaciers and towering peaks.
At the summit, take your time to explore Glacier 3000 and enjoy the mountain scenery at your own pace. Walk through the glacier landscape, enjoy the Fun Park or take the Chairlift. For the more adventurous, experience the thrill of walking across the famous Peak Walk by Tissot, the world’s first suspension bridge connecting two mountain peaks. Stretching 107 metres between the peaks, the bridge offers incredible panoramic views across the Alps. On a clear day, you can admire some of Europe’s most iconic mountains, including Mont-Blanc and the Matterhorn.
After your Alpine adventure, continue to Montreux, the pearl of the Vaud Riviera, nestled along the shores of Lake Geneva. Enjoy free time to explore this elegant lakeside town, stroll along the famous promenade, discover its charming streets or simply admire the spectacular views across the lake and surrounding mountains.
From standing on a suspension bridge nearly 3,000 metres above sea level to relaxing beside the sparkling waters of Lake Geneva, this tour combines Alpine adventure, spectacular scenery and the charm of the Swiss Riviera in one unforgettable day
