Detailed Description
* SANTANDER EXTREME OPTION 2: FULL-DAY CIRCUIT OF 14 ACTIVITIES
- Starts: From 8 AM in hotels in San Gil
- Duration: 8 to 9 hours
- Includes: 14 extreme sports activities Lunch and Transportation
Activity Description:
After being picked up at your accommodation located in the metropolitan area of San Gil, you will go to our office located in Páramo de la Salud-Santander.
You will receive a medical assistance record, personal protective equipment necessary for the activities and a technical talk, where we explain the activity in detail and provide recommendations.
The start of the activities is exactly the same as the half-day circuit, taking an exciting 37-meter cable flight to the entrance of the Indian Cave, a humid cavern where we will find formations of stalactites, stalagmites and crawling areas. Inside the cave we carry out activities such as caving, hiking, water crossing, low crawling and a jump into the void from a 6-meter-high platform into the well. We will swim out of the cave.
We will continue on a short and entertaining ecological walk to the heights park, where the rest of the adventure will be waiting for us.
We will glide through the air (canopy) by means of stainless steel cables mounted on a slope with a military-style spider web, to then challenge our balance on a series of bridges anchored to the trees, Wooden Bridge, Dancer Bridge and Himalayan Bridge will witness our most risky movements. We will finish this high altitude area with the rappelling activity, it will be 25 meters to get down from the trees.
We will take natural trails towards the office, where we will take a short break to recharge our batteries with a fruit snack.
After the short break, our vehicle will take us towards the banks of the Fonce River where we will take the last activity: Rafting. The guides in charge of this activity will greet you with the personal protection equipment and technical briefing and we are ready to begin an 11 KM descent down the Fonce River with category I, II and III rapids, aboard a rowboat.
We will finish the tour on the other side of the river, near Gallineral Park, where our guides will be waiting to take you to enjoy a delicious local lunch.
After lunch, you will be taken back to your accommodation. Thus closing an unforgettable day in the extreme and adventurous Santander.
