    Itinerary

    Depart from Perth for a 1-hour scenic cruise along the Swan River to Fremantle, followed by the high-speed ferry.

    Cross the Indian Ocean to Rottnest, where you receive your rental bike and safety equipment. With all the details arranged ahead of time, your job is to relax and enjoy the island.

    Bike the car-free island independently, exploring some of its 20 bays and 63 secluded beaches. Head for Bathurst or Wadjemup lighthouses, Pilot Boathouse, Rottnest Island Museum, or Lomas Cottage. As you ride, keep a lookout for seals at Cathedral Rocks or the island's native quokkas.

    If you upgraded to include food, stop at Karma Rottnest for lunch. If you upgraded to include snorkeling, enjoy the underwater view.

    You return either to Barrack Street Jetty in Perth

        Ferry & Bike Hire
        Book a bike before you travel – it will be waiting for you at the jetty when you arrive. With few cars to worry about, you can safely explore the island’s roads and pathways at your leisure.Cycle out to lighthouses, secluded bays and beaches, stop for a picnic and count quokkas as you go. From a ‘lap of the map’ to a short ride, cycling Rottnest is a great day out.

        With warm Indian Ocean currents, coral reefs, colourful fish and even a shipwreck or two, the waters around Rottnest offer some of the best snorkelling in Australia.

        Snorkel hire
        Swimming here is free and easy, but to really experience Rottnest’s dazzling underwater realm, strap on a snorkel and some fins and peer into the deep blue sea. The waters here are teeming with more than 135 species of vibrant tropical fish and 20 species of coral.
        ‘Large’ snorkelling hire includes size 7–15 flippers, snorkel and a mask with an adjustable strap.
        ‘Small’ snorkelling hire includes size 1–7 flippers, snorkel and a mask with an adjustable strap.

        1/ Frankies on Rotto
        Sit back and enjoy the welcoming, casual vibe at Frankie’s on Rotto. Last but not least, if you ever feel like a night in, but still want delicious food they’ll even deliver to you!
