The tour takes place in a venue built in 1927 and declared a historical building for its charm and cultural importance. Evoking the golden tango years, this "Tanguería" features a lounge that can accomodate 400 people, while offering a memorable tango show along with a delicious dinner. Homero Manzi was the man who transformed tango in poetry and actually immortalized this corner where he wrote his famous tango "Sur".
The nigh begins with a delicious dinner begins. Esquina Homero Manzi offers a delicious three course dinner featuring an international and traditional Argentine menu especially prepared for those who want to enjoy a unique cuisine. Sample menu: Starters like, Assorted cold curs with salad and Cake roll filled with ham and heart of palm. Main courses, such as Boneless steak with french fries or mixed salad, Chicken with almonds served with noissette potatoes, Vegetables or ricotta ravioli. And Desserts like Ice cream with kiwi and strawberry sauce
The first chords of the bandoneon marks the beginning of the this amazing tango show which includes a live musical quintet (bandoneon, piano, violin, guitar and bass), along with two singers and four dance couples. The show revolves around Homero Manzi compositions and also offers memorable homages to Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzolla, for you to enjoy the rhythm of tango and milongas.
