Detailed Description
Depending on the selected option, we will pick you up in the morning or early afternoon, to start the tour thorugh the city's many historical monuments and buildings, from Spanish Colonial times., especially those built by the Roman Catholic Church. In this tour, we will discover that Cordoba has reigning nature, old architecture, latent history, modernity and economic growth in each of its corners.
Some of the highlights we'll during the tour are located within the central area, like: San Martín Square, the Cathedralm the Cabildo, Libertador San Martín theatre, Ferreyra Palace, Sarmiento Park, City of Arts, Bicentenary Bridge and the new Civic Centre.
After the city tour, we will visit the Manzana Jesuítica (the Jesuit Block), declared in the 2000's a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which consists of a group of buildings dating from the 17th century including the Compañía de Jesús church, the Nuestra Señora de Lourdes chapel, the old principalship of the University, current UNC History Museum, and the traditional School of Monserrat.
