Itinerary
Today we will have a unforgettable experience, we will go to this charming city in the south of Chile, two jewels in the heart of the Chilean lakes, Frutillar and Llanquihue.
We will begin our day leaving from Puerto Montt at approximately 08:30 Hrs, or from Puerto Varas at 09.00 Hrs approx, we will reconfirm you before the tour.
We will enjoy together this picturesque journey, heading towards the Lake Llanquihue, the second largest Lake country`s largest.
We will start our excursion, visiting the city of Llanquihue, famous for its cured meats and place of origin of the Mallín River, is part of the old Route of the Settlers.
In the city We will visit Los Cisnes Beach and the Dock which has a beautiful view of the Lake and the Volcanoes. Then we will border the lake Llanquihue to head towards Frutillar.
We arrived in this city which is a beautiful town reminiscent of Bavaria, where its first settlers come from, and where all its influence comes from German, its cultural history emerged in 1856 as a shipping dock appearing soon tanneries, mills, breweries, etc.
We`ll walk around of its beautiful old German-style houses, admiring its manicured gardens and its incomparable view of the Volcanoes Osorno and Pointy.
Optionally we will have the possibility to visit the Museum German Colonial that shows the life of the colonists or enjoy a coffee with a typical German pastry from this area.
On your waterfront we will observe the Teatro del Lago where annually carry out the famous “Semanas Musicales de Frutillar” with worldwide attendance.
