This is the most effective way to know and visualize Fortaleza's tourist potential in a short time. This tour lasts for a maximum of two and a half hours and manages to condense the main sights of the city at that time. It starts at Avenida Beira Mar, which houses the handicraft fair, the statue of Iracema and the neighborhood of Mucuripe. This district has poetic, economic and historical importance for the city, besides harboring the local port.
Then passing through the most popular beach of the city, Praia do Futuro, and the Meireles neighborhood, which is considered one of the chicest. There are Avenida Dom Luís, a tribute to the archbishop of Fortaleza; the Portugal Square, which honors sailors and settlers; and the church Our Lady of Lebanon, the only Orthodox church in the city.
