Detailed Description
We start the tour with a road trip through the Valley of Lerma to the village of Carril, continuing through Chicoana and the Quebrada de Escoipe, we arrive at La Merced and El Carrill, two small mountain villages, where you will see La Quebrada de Escoipe. From there we enter the Cuesta del Obispo, following a path with pronounced curves that allows you to enjoy a panoramic view of the Enchanted Valley and the small houses with corn and fruit fields. During our tour, we will reach the highest point at 3384 masl, in the Piedra del Molino.
Then, we continue crossing Los Cardones National Park, following a route that used to be part of the ancient Inca Trail, known as the Tin-Tin Straight. Arriving in Cachi, we can see a panoramic view of Nevado de Cachi and Payogasta Hills. A visit to the town of Cachi is done through the Museum of Archeology (entrance is not included).
The return to Salta is by the same route, arriving at hotels near 06:00 pm
