In this 3-hour Shibuya Food Tour, you will not need a Shibuya map or Shibuya travel guide. We show our guests the delicious side of Shibuya, a place more known for being at the forefront of culture and fashion, and rarely known for its food. People always ask where to go in Shibuya. Of course, there is the Shibuya crossing location, and most people know that Shibuya is close to Harajuku but Shibuya restaurants either cater to tourists or they cater to the locals. We want to show our guests the places to go in Shibuya, the places the locals go, so the next time they visit they can do as a local do. Experience a part of Shibuya that no tourist will ever see on their own with the most delicious food only locals usually get to taste. Get the chance to try different amazing dishes and traditional desserts! Nestled in the back alleys, these places are an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss.

Every Day at 4 pm
Meeting Time Frame: 3:45-4:00 pm
Start Time: 4:00 pm
End Time: 7:00 pm
With respect to the places that we visit, the safety of our guides as well as other participants on the tour, and neighborhood locals, we request that guests wear face masks and observe other Covid precautions during the tour. Masks are okay to be taken off while you are drinking and eating, of course. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cultural sensitivity. If you disagree with this policy, we may respectfully ask you not to join the tour. We have a strict policy about starting our tours on time. This is to protect the enjoyment of all our guests and restaurant partners. We are sorry to say that if you are not able to arrive at the meeting point by the departure time, the tour will start regardless and no refund will be provided. We are also unable to accommodate meeting up at any of the food stops once you’ve missed the start of the tour. Please note we can only wait an additional five minutes after the starting time and then the tour will depart. In addition to our limited five-minute grace period, please note that we cannot give directions or contact the guides on the phone once the tour begins. This is to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests on the tour and also to respect our relationships with restaurants.
TOUR DETAILS
Please keep in mind, however, that we cannot make an allergy-free or dietary restriction food guarantee since food is prepared in kitchens that do not belong to Arigato Japan. Also, some stops may not have a viable substitution but we will make every effort to compensate at different stops throughout the tour.
WEATHER REMINDER:
On rainy days, we recommend bringing an umbrella. They can be easily purchased at any convenience store.
