Itinerary
The meeting point for this tour is The Halich Hotel between 8:00 am and 8:15 am. Please ensure prompt arrival. From there, we will depart for the WWI battlefields of Gallipoli, making a brief stop along the way to purchase provisions and rations.
Please note that on 24 April, official security protocols and restrictions surrounding high-level attendance will likely prohibit a complete tour of Gallipoli. Instead, we will depart from Istanbul in the morning and travel directly to Çanakkale. Upon arrival, your guide will organise a tailored programme based on local conditions and group preferences.
Following hotel check-in and an opportunity to rest, the group will depart around midnight. We will cross by ferry and proceed to Anzac Cove, arriving at approximately 1:00 am to secure a location for the overnight wait prior to the Dawn Service.

Awaken before sunrise for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service. You will experience the almost deafening silence as the moving service begins, commemorating our fallen forefathers on this poignant day. The morning commemorations commence with a pre-service programme at 1:30 am. Please be aware that the final entry deadline is 3:00 am, after which site access closes and temporary road closures take effect. The 'Spirit of Place' introductory segment starts at 5:00 am, paving the way for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service to officially begin at 5:30 am.
Following the early events, you will have the opportunity to attend the national memorial services. The Australian Memorial Service at Lone Pine is scheduled for 10:00 am, and the New Zealand Memorial Service at Chunuk Bair will follow at 11:30 am. To conclude the commemorations, coach boarding for our departure will begin at 1:00 pm at Chunuk Bair/Hill 261, before you return to Istanbul in the afternoon.

Detailed Description
This 2-day tour departs from and returns to Istanbul. It includes a visit to the Gallipoli Peninsula to attend the ANZAC Day Dawn Service, followed by either the Australian or New Zealand memorial service, before heading back to Istanbul.
Embark on a journey to the historic battlefields of Gallipoli. Day one begins with a morning departure from Istanbul, allowing time to gather necessary supplies en route. Upon reaching the Gallipoli Peninsula, secure a prime location at Anzac Cove in preparation for the solemn overnight vigil.
Awaken before dawn on the second day to experience the profoundly moving ANZAC Day Dawn Service. Immerse yourself in the poignant atmosphere as you pay respects to fallen soldiers. Afterward, choose to attend either the Australian or New Zealand Memorial service, honoring their contributions and sacrifices. A late afternoon drive back to Istanbul concludes the tour, bidding farewell to newfound companions and the echoes of history
