9 days in Rio de Janeiro and Salvador

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
Upon arrival at Rio de Janeiro international airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your leisure, either relaxing or exploring the city.

Day 2: Exploring Rio de Janeiro: Corcovado Sugar Loaf with lunch
Our tour begins with the Pick up at your hotel to head towards the emblematic Cerro Corcovado, where the impressive statue of Christ the Redeemer is located, located 710 meters high. In addition to marveling at this iconic attraction, you will be surrounded by nature, since the hill is located within the National Park of the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world.
From the top of the hill, you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view that encompasses the Rodrigo Lagoon de Freitas, the north of the city and several of its beaches. Afterwards, we We will head towards the legendary Maracaná stadium for an external visit that It will allow you to appreciate its greatness.

We will continue our tour with a stop at the famous Avenida del Carnaval, the Sambódromo and explore the Apotheosis Square.
You will recharge your batteries in a moment of rest to enjoy a delicious lunch in a restaurant buffet. Then, we will head to the impressive Sugarloaf Mountain, located 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of Guanabara Bay. We`ll ride a glass cable car to the top, from where you can enjoy a 360° view of Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo and its surroundings.
Before finishing, we will explore the charming Historic Center of the city, making stops at the majestic Metropolitan Cathedral, the famous Selarón Stairs and passing by the iconic Arcos da Lapa.

After a day full of activities and discoveries, we will take you back to your hotel, where You can rest and remember this unforgettable experience.

Day 3: Free day in Rio de Janeiro
Free day to explore Rio de Janeiro . We suggest a jeep tour (optional) that lasts about 4 hours through the Tijuca Forest, where you can find the beautiful Chinese view and see the famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and Guanabara Bay; and the Botanical Garden, place of the imperial palm trees and various stories of the Brazilian Empire.

Day 4: Free day in Rio de Janeiro
Free day to explore Rio de Janeiro. We suggest a walking tour (optional) in the city center. You can visit the Royal Portuguese Reading Cabinet, the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, the Cultural Center of the Bank of Brazil, the National Historical Museum and the São Bento Monastery, among other options.

Day 5: Departure to Salvador
We will pick you up at your hotel in Rio de Janeiro to take you to the airport , there you will take your flight to Bahia.

Once in Salvador, we will take you to the hotel you have chosen and you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 6: Exploring the City Tour in Salvador
The tour begins with departure from the hotels selected to visit some of the most important points where we can verify the history of the city of Salvador, its first streets, squares and churches.
We start with the Bar Lighthouse to reach the City Alta through Victory Corridor, Campo Grande and Piedade. It is the modern part of the city, so there are large buildings and shopping centers; the streets and Avenues are very busy, and it is considered the economic center of Salvador.

Next we will walk through the Municipal Square, where the Palace of Rio Branco and the City Hall, front al elevator Lacerda, from whose balustrades you can see one of the most beautiful views of the Bay of All Saints.
From the elevator viewpoint, we will appreciate the Upper City, Lower City and the diversity of angles that variety offers of plans that offer the streets and houses of Pelô. Day 8: Free day in Salvador

Its archipelago has 50 islands where you can see part of the city of Salvador and still swim in the Ilha dos Frades, in addition to visiting the island of Itaparica, known for being the land of João Ubaldo Ribeiro, writer of the novel A Casa dos Budas Ditosos.

Day 9: End of the trip
