Itinerary
1st Day (Sat.) BILBAO
Arrival to Bilbao and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
2nd Day (Sun.) BILBAO – COSTA DE VICAYA – BILBAO
Breakfast at the hotel. We will explore the Bilbao estuary to uncover the city’s interesting industrial past. On the coast, we will stop to view the Bizkaia Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Passing by the majestic Butrón Castle, we will reach the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. From a distance, we will discover the secrets of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, a location featured in the famous TV series Game of Thrones. In Bermeo, a typical fishing village, we will stop to explore its charms. A special pintxo tasting is included. Finally, in Gernika, we will visit the notable Casa de Juntas and the famous Tree of Gernika. The tour will conclude around 2:30 PM in Bilbao. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, guided walking tour of Bilbao, including the city center with its most important areas and the old town. Accommodation at the hotel in Bilbao.
3rd Day (Mon.) BILBAO – BIARRITZ – ST. JEAN DE LUZ – SAN SEBASTIÁN – BILBAO
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided visit to Biarritz in the French Basque Country. A favorite summer retreat of European royalty, we will discover the best views of the city and its most famous spots. Our second stop will be Saint-Jean-de-Luz, where we will stroll through this charming coastal village and taste a special typical sweet. Finally, we will arrive in San Sebastián for a walking tour and some free time. Lunch not included. Afterwards, we will enjoy the spectacular views from Mount Igueldo. Return to Bilbao and accommodation.
4th Day (Tue.) BILBAO – LA RIOJA – VITORIA – BILBAO
Breakfast at the hotel. Once we enter the Rioja wine region, we will enjoy magnificent views over a sea of vineyards. We will pass through typical small towns and countless wineries of all kinds. In Laguardia, we will take a walking tour of its historic center. It is one of the most beautiful and charming villages in Rioja. A guided visit to a traditional winery with a wine tasting is included. Free time in Laguardia. Lunch not included. In Vitoria, the capital of the Basque Country, we will take a panoramic tour and a walking tour of its interesting city center and part of the historic district. A tasting of a typical sweet at a high-quality Basque artisan chocolatier is included. Return to Bilbao, accommodation at the hotel.
5th Day (Wed.) BILBAO
Breakfast at the hotel. Depending on the schedule, free time in the city. Transfer from the hotel to Bilbao. END OF SERVICES.

* Offered two different hotel categories, Superior T or Superior Plus A. Both categories, first-hand selected, guarantee to all our clients a comfortable accommodation with high quality standards. Bear in mind that Superior Plus A tends to be centrally located.

* Room Capacity: Children under 4 years old, free of charge sharing twin room with 2 adults (one child per room maximum). All their expenses at parents charge directly. Children 4-7 year old, sharing room with 2 adults (maximum one child per room only)
* Cancelation conditions: A penalty consisting of 30% of the total amount of the trip if the cancellation occurs between 30 and 21 days before the start of the trip; 60%, if this occurs between 20 and 10 days before the start; and 100%, if the withdrawal is made 9 days before departure
