Detailed Description
Send us details of your flight arrival at Trelew airport, and a driver will be waiting for you after your arrival, holding a sign with your name, and we will take you safely to your hotel in downtown Puerto Madryn.
Start the excursion very early in the morning. Our first stop will be at the interpretive center Carlos Ameghino Isthmus, where you can get quick information about the flora, fauna and geology of Peninsula. Also, we will go to the panoramic viewpoint to see Nuevo & San Jose Gulfs and the Island of Birds. The second stop is at Puerto Piramides where, depending on the season, you can take a whale watching tour (optional) or a snorkeling trip (optional). Finally, continue traveling along Caleta Valdes, Punta Norte and Punta Cantor to observe elephant seals, penguins and sea lions. Return to the hotel around 7 pm
Our tour begins around 7:30 am, with the transfer from your hotel. The first stop will be at Puerto Rawson, Playa Unión, around 09:00 am. You will board a small boat to see dolphins. You will be able to get close to the smallest dolphin in the world. We will navigate until we see the playful dolphins in their habitat. This excursion lasts 1 hour. Next, we will continue to Punta Tombo, a natural habitat for Magellanic penguins. There, you will be able to connect with nature, admire the life of the penguins, and create unforgettable memories.
We will spend 1 hour and a half there, and during that time, you will be able to observe how different animals coexist on the coast, such as seagulls, skuas, giant petrels, cormorants, oystercatchers, and ducks.
In case the weather conditions are unsuitable for dolphin watching, we will take a historical tour of the old Welsh colony of Gaiman, where you will have the opportunity to taste traditional Welsh Tea (not included). We will return to Puerto Madryn around 6:30 pm.
According to your flight schedule, your driver will pick you up at the hotel to take to the airport to board your flight. End of services
