Itinerary
You'll depart from the ferry terminal, located in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero, on the shore of the de la Plata River, the widest in the world and a natural border between Argentina and Uruguay. Once there, you will have to go to the Departures counter to present documentation for check-in and board the ferry. Around 07.30 AM, the ferry departs and sails to Montevideo during 2.15 hours approximately. While sailing, you will be able to enjoy all the facilities the ship offers. Whether sitting in comfortable seats or out to the balconies to observe the journey, you will be in one of the safest and most reliable ships. By 09.45 AM, you will arrive to Montevideo where a driver will be waiting for you to take you to the selected hotel. Once in the hotel, leave your luggage and prepare the check-in.
Explore Montevideo in an air-conditioned minibus with stops at the most iconic locations. We'll start at Independence Square to see the Citadel Gate, continue to the Solís Theatre and the Executive Tower. We'll admire the historic Estévez Palace, the impressive Salvo Palace, and the monument to José Gervasio Artigas. We'll pass through 18 de Julio Avenue, reaching the Legislative Palace. Then, we'll explore the Agricultural Market, where you can buy local products and have an optional lunch. We'll visit José Batlle y Ordoñez Park to see the Uruguayan Football Monument, the Centenario Stadium, and the Carreta Monument. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Rambla along the Río de la Plata before returning to downtown hotels. A comprehensive and enriching journey.
