This 3-day hike tour will take you to explore the deepest canyon in the world, and discover lovely Andean towns in the Valley of Colca

Itinerary
Very early in the morning, we will depart to the town of Chivay with our transport, in a journey of 3 hours. Upon arrival, we will have breakfast.
The tour continues to the Condor’s cross (3,800 m.a.s.l.). Here, we’ll have the great opportunity to see and admire the incredible Condor flying around. Then, we will reach Cabanaconde, the starting point of the trekking.
Arriving to the viewpoints of Pampas de San Miguel (3,300 m), we are going to descend to the depth of the canyon along 4.6 miles (3 hours), until we reach San Juan de Chuccho (2,400 m.a.s.l.). This town is surrounded by beautiful and abundant vegetation.
Here, we will enjoy a lunch, and we are going to have the chance to learn about local fruit trees and medicinal plants. Later, we’re going to have dinner, and spend the night.
After breakfast, we are going to start a total trek of 2.5 miles, taking uphill and downhill paths, and visiting lovely traditional towns such as Cosñirhua, with the opportunity to admire pre Incan ruins. We will also pass through the town of Malata, where we can see its old Spanish church. We’re going have time for lunch.
Later, we will descend until reach the Oasis of Sangalle (2,225 m.a.s.l.) to spend the night. Here, you can take a refreshing bath in the pool and enjoy lunch. We can make short tours around the oasis (optional).
At night, we will enjoy a delicious dinner, and have time for a well deserve rest.
The tour starts very early in the morning, with an amazing trek of 3 hours (2.5 miles), ascending the slope of the canyon until we reach the town of Cabanaconde. After having breakfast in this picturesque town, we will take the transport to go to Chivay.
On the way, we are going to visit the viewpoint of Antahuilque, with amazing landscapes to Inca terraces. Also we will stop by the town of Maca, which stands out for its beautiful colonial church. The town of Yanque offers us its hot springs (optional*).
Then, we’re going to the town of Chivay to lunch (optional*). You will depart from Chivay at 1:00 p.m. and arrive to main square of Puno at 7:00 p.m

* The ticket entrance to the Colca Valley should be paid in cash
* The optional activities (*) are not included
* At the end of the tour, we will drop you at the Plaza de Armas of Puno
* If you book the tour with only transportation and guide included, each passenger must bring in cash S/ 350.00 soles, to cover the costs of accommodation in private room, food (2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 1 dinner), Tourist Ticket, entrance to the hot springs and last lunch in Chivay.
* The regular bus will depart from Chivay at 1:00 p.m. and will drop you off at the main square of the city of Puno, arriving at 7:00 p.m. Upon arrival in Puno, you will need to make your own way to your hotel
* If you book the tour with the transfer to Puno included, you can leave your big luggage in a safe place located in the town of Cabanaconde (starting point of the trek) on the first day, and pick it up before arriving to Chivay on the last day. It has an extra cost, paid at the moment, in cash, in local currency (PEN)
