              Itinerary

Join us for a fun, interactive 90-minute guided tour of Toronto, perfect for visitors and locals alike! Starting at Sankofa Square, also known as Yonge-Dundas Square, this tour runs daily with day and evening departures, ensuring you can explore the city on your schedule. Enjoy the comfort of a climate-controlled vehicle with guaranteed seating and embark on an experience that’s engaging for all ages.

As we set off, our journey begins with the upscale Yorkville neighborhood, known for its designer boutiques, fine dining, and cultural landmarks. Here, you’ll catch a view of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), one of Canada’s premier museums, with its iconic “Michael Lee-Chin Crystal” addition that has become an architectural conversation piece. Yorkville’s rich history as a former hippie haven turned luxury shopping district adds an interesting contrast to our tour.

Next, we’ll pass by the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), an architectural gem designed by the world-renowned Frank Gehry. With over 90,000 pieces, the AGO holds masterpieces from Canadian icons like the Group of Seven. You’ll learn fascinating tidbits about Gehry’s Toronto roots and his vision for the gallery’s distinctive design.

Our route continues through Chinatown, a vibrant district filled with bustling markets, colorful storefronts, and the delicious aroma of authentic cuisine. Learn about the deep-rooted history of Chinese immigrants in Toronto and how this neighborhood has evolved over the decades, becoming a beloved cultural and culinary hotspot.

Marvel at the impressive CN Tower as we approach the heart of the city. Once the world’s tallest free-standing structure, the tower remains an engineering marvel and an unmistakable symbol of Toronto’s skyline.

As we head down Queen Street, known for its artistic vibe, eclectic shops, and striking street art, you’ll hear fun facts about the area’s history as the city’s creative heart and its role in shaping Toronto’s unique character.

We’ll cruise through the Entertainment District, home to historic venues like the Royal Alexandra Theatre, which has been captivating audiences since 1907. You’ll also spot the TIFF Bell Lightbox, the central hub of the Toronto International Film Festival, and hear about the city’s star-studded connections.

Halfway through the tour, we’ll make a special stop at City Hall for a photo opportunity with the iconic Toronto sign. Originally created for the 2015 Pan American Games, this sign has become a symbol of the city and lights up to mark various events and holidays. It’s the perfect spot for capturing your Toronto memories.

Next, we’ll journey through the financial district, where modern skyscrapers tower over historic buildings, highlighting Toronto’s blend of old and new. Here, you’ll learn about the city’s growth as an economic powerhouse and its role as a major financial center in North America.

Our route takes us to Cabbagetown, an area famed for its Victorian homes and leafy streets. You’ll hear about how this neighborhood got its unique name and its history as a working-class district that has since become one of Toronto’s most charming residential areas.

We’ll then explore the Distillery District, known for its Victorian-era industrial architecture. Once home to the largest distillery in the British Empire, this pedestrian-only area has transformed into a vibrant neighborhood filled with art galleries, boutiques, and outdoor sculptures. It’s a perfect blend of history and modern charm.

As we drive along Queens Quay, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of Lake Ontario, where the shimmering waters meet the city skyline. Learn about the Toronto Islands, a beloved recreational area that’s only a short ferry ride away and offers bike paths, beaches, and panoramic views.

Our tour concludes as we head back up Yonge Street, the longest street in the world, returning to Sankofa Square. This final leg of the journey offers glimpses of the city’s diverse architecture and lively atmosphere. Don’t miss out on this interactive and family-friendly journey that blends history, culture, and fun in one unforgettable experience.

For added convenience, we offer shuttle service from 55 York Street (across from Union Station and the Fairmont Royal York) at select times to meet the tour at Sankofa Square. Seating is first come, first serve, unless you opt for premium seating tickets for a guaranteed spot.
