16 Days trip to Morocco from Madrid through Andalusia
Itinerary
1st Day (Fri.) MADRID
Arrival at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Accommodation at the hotel.
2nd Day (Sat.) MADRID - TOLEDO – MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting at our office (C/ San Nicolás, 15) for a panoramic tour of the city. On a walking tour through the streets of Madrid’s historic center, we will discover iconic sites such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and Plaza de la Villa. Afterwards, we will board one of our buses for a drive past the city’s most outstanding monuments. We will see the oldest bridge in Madrid, with spectacular views of the Royal Palace. We will continue along Gran Vía, visit the Las Ventas Bullring, pass by the Cibeles Fountain and the Puerta de Alcalá—the most famous of the five ancient gates into Madrid—and see the recently renovated Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. On the way back, we will pass through Calle Serrano and Atocha Station, ending at the Plaza de Oriente parking area, right in front of the Royal Palace.
Free time, then meeting again at our office at the scheduled time to depart for Toledo. We will take a walking tour through the historic city of Toledo, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986, and an impressive blend of Arab, Jewish, and Christian cultures. Learn about its fantastic heritage and see how the coexistence of cultures through the centuries influenced its current architectural style.
You will walk through the city cobbled-streets until you reach the Cathedral. Built on the remains of an Arab mosque, its construction started in the 13th century. Today, it is one of the most important Gothic Cathedrals of Spain. Admire the magnificent façade and the huge bell tower before getting inside. Visit its interior and Sacristy, full of masterpieces of the former art museum it was. Amongst them, see fifteen paintings by El Greco.
Free time and return to Madrid (ending at Plaza de Oriente). Accommodation at the hotel.

3rd Day (Sun.) MADRID – MÉRIDA– CORDOBA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure heading west via the highway towards Extremadura, the birthplace of several explorers of the New World. Arrival in Mérida, the capital of Extremadura. Declared a World Heritage Site, Mérida is known for its rich historical heritage, including its well-preserved Roman ruins: the theater, the amphitheater, the Roman bridge, and more. Free time and then continuation to Cordoba, once the capital of the Caliphate. Accommodation at the hotel.
4th Day (Mon.) CORDOBA – SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. Impressive tour of the Mosque, today a Cathedral, that will ease our mind and spirit strolling through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short two-hour ride reach Seville. Accommodation at the hotel.
5th Day (Tue.) SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, monumental and panoramic city tour, including entrance to the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter’s in Rome. We will also visit the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz, the natural setting of “Carmen” and the place where the myth of “Don Juan” developed, as well as María Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Afternoon at leisure to explore different perspectives and local flavors of this vibrant, sun-filled city. Accommodation at the hotel.
6th Day (Wed.) SEVILLE – RONDA – COSTA DEL SOL
After breakfast at the hotel drive south passing typical villages. Reach Ronda; free time to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvelous view of the valley and mountain range. In the afternoon continue on to the Costa del Sol, one of the most modern and important international tourist areas. Accommodation at the hotel.
7th Day (Thu.) COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast and accommodation at the hotel. Day at leisure for you to enjoy the wonderful beaches of the Costa del Sol and surrounding areas. Accommodation at the hotel.
8th Day (Fri.) COSTA DEL SOL – TARIFA/ALGECIRAS – TANGIER – FEZ
Departure along the tourist route of the Costa del Sol and arrival in Algeciras or Tarifa. Board the ferry for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrival in Morocco, disembarkation, customs formalities, and continuation by coach to Fez. Dinner and accommodation.
* A stop will be done at Meknes until March 31, 2026
9th Day (Sat.) FEZ
Breakfast. Complete visit of the city considered the religious capital or the country. Founded in the 8th Century by Idriss II, it is considered one of the 4 Moroccan Imperial capitals. Panoramic tour of the most emblematic places such as the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter and the fortress that has the best view of Fez el Bali, the medina or ancient city. Take a walking tour accessing the medina through the famous Bab Bou Jeloud gate and have the possibility of experiencing a return to the past of the city that still lives close to Middle Age. Walls that protect its interior made of organized alleys where you will experience a thousand smells and flavors, this place is considered World Heritage. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
10th Day (Sun.) FEZ – RABAT – CASABLANCA – MARRAKECH
Breakfast and early departure to Rabat, the capital of the country. Visit the most emblematic places susch as the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Continue to Casablanca where you will visit the most interesting places such us the United Nations Square, the Boulevard de la Corniche and the exterior of Hassan II mosque. Once the visit is over, free lunch en route and continue to Marrakech. Accommodation at the hotel. Optionally, typical dinner at Fantasia Chez Ali under Kaidal tents.
11th Day (Mon.) MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, city tour of the so-called “Pearl of the South,” beginning with the magnificent Menara Gardens, featuring a side pavilion and countless olive trees. Afterwards, exterior visit of the Koutoubia Minaret, the twin sister of Seville’s Giralda. Entering the old part of the city, we will visit the Bahia Palace, once owned by a nobleman of the city. Finally, arrival at Jemaa el-Fna Square, one of the most fascinating places in Morocco, from where we will access the souks and the medina. Guilds of artisans in woodwork, ceramics, leather, and spices will be among the highlights of the visit. Lunch at the hotel and departure to Casablanca. Arrival, dinner, and accommodation.
12th Day (Tue.) CASABLANCA– TANGIER – TARIFA/ALGECIRAS – COSTA DEL SOL
After breakfast at the hotel departure to Tangier. Transfer to the pier to board the ferry to return across the strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Drive towards the Costa del Sol. Accommodation at the hotel.
13th Day (Wed.) COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast and accommodation at the hotel. Day at leisure for you to enjoy the wonderful beaches of the Costa del Sol and surrounding areas. Accommodation at the hotel.
14th Day (Thu.) COSTA DEL SOL – GRANADA
Breakfast. Departure towards the city of Granada, last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. Visit the world-renowned Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by Washington Irving. Accommodation at the hotel. In the evening, optional Flamenco Zambra show.
15th Day (Fri.) GRANADA – MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure heading north towards Madrid. Arrival and accommodation at the hotel.

16th Day (Sat.) MADRID

Offered two different hotel categories, Superior T or Superior Plus A. Both categories, first-hand selected, guarantee to all our clients a comfortable accommodation with high quality standards. Bear in mind that Superior Plus A tends to be centrally located.
Even though our tours run bilingual, please select the preferred language at time of booking.
1 regular suitcase and 1 handbag per person is allowed. Any extra luggage is likely to be charged. Luggage handling is responsibility of the customer.

(*) During stay in Madrid tour escort service is not available.
(*) In the event that the panoramic tour of Madrid is not operated for technical reasons will be replaced by the Madrid Hop-on Hop-off Bus 1 day instead or a walking tour of the Hapsburg Quarter (to be decided by the operator)
(*) In the event that the Patronato de La Alhambra y el Generalife, on some dates, does not grant tickets for the participants in the visit, compensation will be offered for the loss of these services, at the discretion of the operator.
(*) Morocco:
* It is necessary to have the passport data at least 45 days before departure to manage the passage to Morocco
* Only one piece of luggage per person will be accepted. Passengers must go through customs control with their luggage.
* The itinerary of the part of Morocco can be modified without substantial variations of the services.
* It is an essential requirement for the Moroccan government that the validity of passports is longer than 6 months, including the full stay in this country

Room Capacity: Children under 4 years old, free of charge sharing twin room with 2 adults (one child per room maximum). All their expenses at parents charge directly. Children 4-7 year old, sharing room with 2 adults (maximum one child per room only)
Cancelation conditions: A penalty consisting of 30% of the total amount of the trip if the cancellation occurs between 30 and 21 days before the start of the trip; 60%, if this occurs between 20 and 10 days before the start; and 100%, if the withdrawal is made 9 days before departure
